Samuel Baird (or Sam) is a television producer and digital storyteller based in Los Angeles, California. He is a member of the Producers Guild of America, and has worked on a wide array of shows in a variety of genres and formats, including Emmy-nominated Fixer Upper, and Deadliest Catch: Bloodline. His experience in TV and film spans fifteen years, five cities, and countless travelers of coffee.
Some of his earliest jobs included documentary films for PBS, which cemented his love for nonfiction storytelling. More recently he has produced shows for CNN, HBO Max, Science Channel, Discovery, Travel, ID, TLC, HGTV, Food Network, and Nat Geo Wild.

When he's not behind an Avid workstation or field monitor, Sam enjoys hiking, camping, and fishing with friends. He loves to travel and is inspired by the people he meets, be it on a film set continents away or at the taco joint around the corner.
